Host and Barstool Melody-Maker Randy Mann takes a break from Beer and Babes to get us the goods on the Oklahoma vs Baylor odds and betting match up. This battle of top 10 teams looks to be a shoot-out that even the “OK Corral” would be proud of. Oklahoma has dominated the series between Big 12 foes, but the RGIII resurrected Baylor Football program continues to flourish. One of the the biggest questions surrounding this game is can these Baylor kids make the leap to Conference Champion and National Title contender status?
On the other side of the line of scrimmage you have an Oklahoma squad that is well coached and talented. They have history and tradition on their side in this affair and that swagger alone can scratch out an extra 1/2 point spread value for the Sooner squad. In stark contradiction to that history, oddsmakers currently have the Sooners sitting as a +16 1/2 point underdog. The Gambling Gods seem to believe they might be a bit over-matched versus the Baylor Bears “version 2013″ for the first time ever in this Big 12 conference series. Look for OU to try and slow this one down a bit with aggressive Defense. Three and outs are of course a key to any football victory, and with the explosive Baylor offense, three and out defensive stands will have an exponential effect on this game.
Now on stage, it is time for Randy Mann to sing us a true gamblers tune with the help of Sooner Scooners, the Bear Jamboree, and a betting lean.

Huge Night of College Football!
First blockbuster of the night — #10 Oklahoma vs # 6 Baylor.
The Baylor Bears have been nothing short of an offensive juggernaut this year— Breaking a slew of records for offensive efficiency and utterly dominating all defenses.
Led by Bryce Petty and running back Lache Seastrunk—the Bears have put 447 points on the scoreboard.
However, the Bear’s first true test of dominance will come Thursday against the Oklahoma Sooners—whom have adjusted their defense this year to play against the now popular spread offenses in the big 12 and beyond…
Baylor has scored over 70 points in 4 of their 7 games, and are averaging over 700+ yards per game.
Juggernaut may be a fictional character, but the Baylor Bears are the marvel personification of just that—they’ve been beastly in their 7 wins.
But, The Sooner defense, well coached & disciplined, gives up an average of 19 points per game.
This game is all about ball possession for Oklahoma. If the Sooners can keep the Bears offense on the bench—then they’ve got a shot.
The Bears are laying -14.5 pts at home.
Baylor is 6-1-0 ATS—Oklahoma 4-4-0.
And, the not-so little elephant in the room…Oklahoma is 21-1 all-time against Baylor.
While Baylor is an exciting team to watch, getting past Oklahoma is going to be no easy task—then they have Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas to close the season.
They may be in a position to shock the college football world if they win out—but sorry Baylor fans… I think you’re place in the Top 10 won’t last this stretch of games.
That said, best of luck out there!
Stay tuned for our preview of Oregon vs Stanford.
Til’ then, I remain….
