College Football Free Play – Colorado State at Colorado 10:30 Pacific

Colorado State and rival Colorado meet Saturday at Invesco Field in Denver, Colorado on Saturday at 10:30 AM Pacific Time and I will be taking the points with Colorado State+7 1/2 at BetDSI Sportsbook this weekend.

The Buffaloes of Colorado come into this big game 0-2 on the season after dropping their opener 17-34 at Hawaii and losing last week 33-36 in overtime to California as a home dog at Folsom Field. They have surrendered 70 points in two games and while they piled up a ton of yards on Saturday they still couldn’t get the job done. Colorado State Rams are 2-0 but those wins came versus New Mexico and Northern Colorado.

Colorado State Rams versus Colorado Buffaloes Free Winner

Colorado Head Coach Jon Embree is still in search of his first victory as they head to the neutral site game to face their northern neighbor, the CSU Rams. The rebuilding project at Colorado continues this weekend and CU had best cut down on the dozen penalties they committed versus Cal. While they got a big performance from senior quarterback Tyler Hansen, who passed for 474 yards and ran for 26 more, it has to be disturbing to lose they way they did and be 0-2 for a new coaching regime.

Saturday will be a big test for the Colorado State Rams as they have had a recent history of rolling up on the teams they should beat, but failing to step up when required. QB Pete Thomas was highly impressive last season and now has a chance to shine on a big stage facing CU. Rams offensive line looks to be a strong suit as they have had success pushing teams around a bit so far. State has been hit by injuries but I think the O-line and RB Raymond Carter may be keys in this game.  Buffalo’s ground game hasn’t done much yet and I like the Rams chances of controlling the tempo by running with success.

Both sides figure to be able to move the ball and while I hate to see a talent like LB Mychal Sisson out for the Rams, I still feel the +7 1/2 points is too good to pass up in this in-state battle. Colorado may get their first win, but I’ll get the money.
