Denver Broncos Look For Eighth Consecutive Win Thursday On The Road Against Raiders

Last Sunday the Denver Broncos (9-3) clinched the division with a 31-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their seventh consecutive victory. This Thursday they travel to take on the Oakland Raiders (3-9) in a division match-up which BetDSI Sportsbook has Denver as a huge favorite.

Against Tampa the Denver Broncos offense was firing on all cylinders with MVP candidate Peyton Manning throwing 27 completions on 38 attempts for 242 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Manning’s best target was WR Demaryius Thomas who had an impressive day with 8 catches for 99 yards and two trips to the end zone.

Denver’s defense was also very solid against the Bucs shutting out Tampa in the second and third quarters. Allowing just 71 yards on the ground against a team that has been very good running the football with rookie RB Doug Martin. Linebacker Von Miller had an a great day with six tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and an interception returned for a touchdown.

The Oakland Raiders have been awful all season and their fortune did not turn last Sunday losing 20-17 to the visiting Cleveland Browns. QB Carson Palmer’s stats do not begin to tell just how bad he has been this season. Against the Browns Palmer went 34 – 54 for 351 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. Oakland would love to get injured running back Darren McFadden back real soon as rookie Jeremy Stewart who is listed as a FB led the team in rushing with 9 carries 46 yards.

Their defense has allowed the most points per a game all season at 31.3, and among the worst in every other category as well. Their weak defense even managed to make the Browns offense look good with Brandon Weeden throwing for 364 yards and rookie RB Trent Richardson running 20 times for 72 yards and a score.

If you are going to bet on who is going to win this game there is just no way you can put a single cent on the Oakland Raiders even if being spotted an absurd amount of points against the Denver Broncos. However the wager I like most in this match-up is over the listed 48 points as the Broncos could come close to that by themselves against such a weak defense.
