Fantasy Football Impact Of The Cleveland Browns In 2012

Welcome back to Fantasy Football Impact where we check out every NFL team’s best Fantasy Football Stars and how they could affect your draft. Today we are going to check out the Cleveland Browns and how they could have an impact on the 2012 season.

The Cleveland Browns could have a very changed offense in the league in 2012 with their recent draft selections of Alabama Running back Trent Richardson and Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden. Richardson brings a lot to be excited about and will be the first rookie selected on just about any Fantasy Football draft boards, BetDSI Sportsbook live betting lines display him as a +300 to win the offensive rookie of the year..

Trent Richardson tore it up last year in Alabama rushing 283 for 1679 yards and 21 touchdowns. He is a strong every down back with great Fantasy Football value since the Cleveland Browns will probably be going with first round selection Rookie QB Brandon Weeden in 2012 he will get lots of carries.

Brandon Weeden the oldest player (28) to ever be selected in the first round is taking snaps with the first team in early organized team assemblies. He very well could be the starter come day one and be a back-up in some fantasy football leagues. Weeden has an impressive college resume throwing 71 passing touchdowns and for over 9000 yards in just two years starting in Oklahoma State.

Weeden will not have a lot receiving options the best on the team is Greg Little who as a rookie led the Browns in catches (61) and yards (709). He was not much of an end zone target with only 2 touchdowns one of which was a 76 yard break away.

Breakdown: Look for Trent Richardson to come off the board in the first round while everyone else is late round back up material.
