Fantasy Football Impact Of The Denver Broncos in 2012

Here at BetDSI Sportsbook we are taking a peek at the Fantasy Football Impact each NFL team will have on league in 2012 we are now at the Denver Broncos. Denver made headlines this off-season making the biggest free agent pick up in years grabbing up Peyton Manning. After manning missed a season due to neck injury the Colts parted ways with him for their new rookie QB Luck which allowed Denver and John Elway serenade him to play for the Broncos.

Manning is going on average fantasy football draft board in the 50′s selections and warrants every bit of it. Should he be healthy he will come close to 30 touchdowns and over 4,000 yards on an offense that has some good talent.

Wide Receivers Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas’ Fantasy Football draft stock both rose with the pick up of Manning, both are good receiving threats and could pile up numbers with their new QB. Decker had 44 receptions in 2011 for 612 yards and 8 touchdowns while Thomas had 32 catches for 551 yards and 4 scores.

Running back Willis McGahee had a big season last year with 249 carries, 1,199 yards and 4 touchdowns. Without Tim Tebow running the ball every time their in the red zone McGahee’s chances to get in the end zone will rise.

Breakdown: The Denver Broncos will have a slew of talent come off the Fantasy Football draft boards during round two and three. Peyton Manning will probably be the first Bronco to go on most boards with Willis McGahee soon after. Pair of receivers Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas share about the same value being drafted in round two maybe early three.
