Grizzlies Have To Get Tougher In Game Two Vs Clippers

The LA Clippers continued their regular season success against the Memphis Grizzlies in the first game of the series in a lopsided 112-91 victory. LA was dominant at home and after their performance in the first contest they are large favorites over the visiting Grizzlies in game two at BetDSI Sportsbook.

LA won four of the five regular season contests against the Grizzlies heavily outscoring them in the fourth quarter, a trend that continued in game one of the playoffs. The Clippers were just shooting brilliantly hitting 55.4% from the floor and 36.8% form behind the arc, and absolutely dominated the boards out-rebounding the Grizzlies 47 to 23.

Chris Paul was on fire for the Clippers leading the team in scoring with 23 points on 7-11 shooting and hitting 3 of his 4 three-point shots. PG Eric Bledsoe was a stud coming off the bench shooting 7 for 7, and ending up with 15 points to go with 6 rebounds, four assists. Blake Griffin had a tough game shooting just 3 for 9 from the paint, but did have 5 boards, 3 assists, and 2 blocked shots.

The Grizzlies are going to have to get a lot tougher over night. Getting out-rebounded the likes they did in the first contest will spell doom come any game, never mind come playoff time. In the first meeting with the Clippers the Grizzlies shot 46.5% from the floor and hit 5 of 12 from downtown.

Leading the Grizzlies in scoring was Guard Jerryd Bayless coming off the bench with 19 points on .500 shooting and hit 2-4 of this three-point attempts. Center Marc Gasol had a big day registering over 40 minutes and scoring 16 points, however he will need to get tougher when it comes to going up for the ball. Point Guard Mike Conley had 5 assists and 12 points on efficient 5 for 11 shooting.

The way the LA Clippers played the other day they can beat any team in the league. The opposite could be said for the Memphis Grizzlies, as with their performance they could of lost to any team in the league. Look for the Grizzlies to play harder tonight but much the same outcome as you can expect a better performance from Blake Griffen and another stellar performance from Chris Paul for a Clippers victory at home.
