Heat Figure Bulls Out In Game Two Head To Chicago For Game Three

With all the talent packed on the Miami Heat roster it was only a matter of time before they figured out how to dominate a depleted Bulls roster. This happened in the third quarter of game two in the series where the Miami Heat outscored the Bulls 30-15 and blew the game open going on to win 115-78.

The Miami Heat really made it look easy shooting 60 percent from the floor, and hit half of their 18 three point attempts. They absolutely crushed Chicago against the glass out-rebounding them 41-28 and caused two more turnovers. Their defensive pressures made scoring difficult for Chicago all night, not allowing more than 22 points in a single quarter.

Leading the game in scoring was Miami’s Ray Allen with 21 points from off the bench on 5-7 shooting, 1-2 from behind the arc, and nailing all 10 free throws.Lebron James was next in scoring with 19 points on some very effective shooting (7-12 from the floor), and also led the game in dishes (9 assists) and steals (3). Norris Cole was next in scoring for the heat with 18 points, followed by Dwayne Wade with 15 points on the night.

Nothing good can be said about the Chicago Bulls performance. Only good they can take away is that they took a game on Miami’s court in the first game of the series. However being thoroughly dominated in game two shows that they may have been outplaying their talent level with their banged up roster. They shot an abysmal 35.5 percent from the floor, hit only 9 of 23, and managed just 71.4% from the foul line.

Marco Belinelli was the leading Bulls scorer with just 13 points on a hard 4 for 13 shooting performance. Joakim Noah managed 12 points on 3 for 7 shooting, and sadly that may have been the best performance of the night for Chicago. Nate Robinson who has been clutch for the Bulls only managed 11 points on 3 for 10 shooting. They are going to have to find a way to score more points if they are going to have a chance in this series.

After the beating in game two I just do not see a way for the Chicago Bulls to get back in this series. The Miami Heat could very well sweep them from here out, take the Heat against the spread in game three.
