Indianapolis Colts Have Luck On Their Side In Wild Card Match Against Ravens
The Indianapolis Colts will be led by their star rookie QB Andrew Luck for their wild card match-up against the Baltimore Ravens tonight. They will need a little Luck on their side along with the emotions of playing for their skipper that has battled cancer throughout the season Chuck Pagano.
BetDSI Sportsbook has Ravens as a large favorite and Baltimore will be playing with emotions of their own as future Hall Of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis announced this will be his last season right before the playoffs started. Baltimore has been unimpressive the past couple of games being led by QB Joe Flacco who hasn’t had one of his best seasons sporting an 87.7 QB rating through out the year on 22 TD’s to 10 INT’s with 3,817 yards passing.
Some weeks the Ravens offense has looked straight anemic, but they will have two dangerous running backs in Ray Rice who has rushed for 4.4 yards per carry with 1,143 yards and 9 touchdowns, and Bernard Pierce who has bust onto the scene at almost 5 yards per carry with 108 rushes for 532 yards.
Indianapolis Colts have made a huge transition from their two win season last year to 11 wins this season being led by rookie QB Andrew Luck. Luck has thrown among the lead leaders in attempts at 627 for 4,374 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions. He has benefited greatly from having Reggie Wayne stay with the team as the all-pro receiver has 106 catches for 1,355 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season.
The Colts do not benefit from a star running back taking a bulk of carries but they do have two backs doing good complimenting each other. Vick Ballard has 211 rushes for 814 yards and two touchdowns, and Donald Brown who has 108 carries for 417 yards , both sporting a 3.9 yards per carry.
For the Colts to win this game they will need to play with the high emotions they have used this past season when playing for their skipper Chuck Pagano. Andrew Luck will also have to play better than he has in his first regular season on the road. Indianapolis will have to keep the running game at bay and make it so Joe Flacco has to beat them.
I love the Colts at +7 however I am going to get very aggressive and say the Colts find a way to win this one straight up on the road against the Baltimore Ravens for a large win on the moneyline.
