NBA Betting Predictions: Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks
Tonight the Miami Heat travel again for the third game of their six game road trip to take on the Atlanta Hawks. BetDSI Sportsbook current live betting lines display the Heat as -165 favorites over the Hawks at home.
The Other day Miami continued their long six game road trip by puting a 106-89 beat down on the Washington Wizards at home. The Heat shot 40-81 from the floor and hit 5 out of 15 three point attempts. Behind some very efficient shooting from Chris Bosh 10-18 and Dwayne Wade 11-18 the Wizards had little chances of pulling a victory from the Heat.
Dwayne Wade led the game in scoring with 26 points and also notched 5 assists. Chris Bosh was a close second on the Miami Heat in scoring with 24 points, also making 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and blocking a shot. Lebron James had 18 points, 9 assists, and 2 blocked shots while Shane Battier led the Miami bench in scoring with 15 points.
The Atlanta Hawks are coming off a huge 89-87 win on the road Friday against a tough Orlando Magic team. They did so with a banged up team missing 6 players however did so in ugly fashion hitting only 36-82 shots. However the Magic could not overcome shooting 43% themselves with 17 total turnovers which made a huge difference in the outcome.
Forward Josh Smith put on quite a show leading the game in scoring with 23 points a ridiculous 19 rebounds and 3 blocked shots while also notching 5 assists against Orlando. Joe Johnson had 14 points with 5 assists. Everyone on the Hawks starting lineup scored 13+ points except Zaza Pachulia who also had a good game with 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists.
My Betting Prediction: The Atlanta Hawks were lucky to pull out a victory in Orlando on Friday and I think the Miami Heat playing at a high level right now will be too much for Atlanta even at home. Too many scorers and playmakers on the Miami Heat to beat them without playing your best basketball.
