NBA Betting Predictions: Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers
The Miami Heat look to end their string of road losses against a Sixers team they have defeated in ten straight regular season meetings. In the Heats last game on Wednesday they lost 106-102 on the road to the Chicago Bulls. Even while shooting 44.7% from the floor and 6-12 for 50% from downtown the Heat could not overcome the awful second quarter they had being outscored 34-19. Miami’s biggest problem of late has been rebounding where they were out boarded 50-34 against the Bulls.
Dwayne Wade scored 36 points and led Miami with 7 rebounds, Wade has averaged over 30 points for the last three games. Lebron James put up 35 points to go with 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Chris Bosh scored 12 on some terrible 3-15 shooting from the field. James Jones led the bench with 6 points shooting two for two from the field and the same from three-point range.
The Philadelphia 76ers had a rough night Wednesday in a 111-94 loss to the Indiana Pacers. They shot very well shooting 52.6% from the floor and hit 6-13 three-point attempts. However Philly just could not D-up against the Pacers allowing the Pacers to shoot a staggering 56.6% from the floor and were out rebounded 37-26.
Evan Turner led the Sixers with 21 points shooting a great 9-11 from the floor and hit his only three-point attempt, he really put in a complete effort with 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocked shots. Jrue Holiday also put in a very good effort shooting 7-8 from the floor, hit his only shot from downtown, and made four assists. Philadelphia did not have the luxury of Louis Williams catching fire coming off the bench as he shot only 3-11 from the field and hit one out of four three point attempts for only 7 points on the game.
NBA Betting Prediction: While the Miami Heat have not been playing well on the road I cannot go against them as they have won the past 10 regular season meetings against the Philadelphia 76ers. Take the Heat at -3 ½ points.
