NBA Betting Predictions: New Jersey Nets vs Indiana Pacers
Both the New Jersey Nets and Indiana Pacers are both on grueling losing streaks and will both have a chance to correct that against each other tonight. BetDSI Sportsbook current live lines display the Pacers as -430 favorites as they have won ten consecutive games against the Nets.
Since opening the season with 16 wins in their first 22 games the Indiana Pacers have hit a harsh slump dropping six of seven with five straight losses by average of over 9 points. Their most recent defeat a 98-87 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road. In that game the Pacers shot a terrible 36.8% from the floor and hit only 66.7% of their free throws.
Guard Darren Collison led the Indiana Pacers in scoring against the Cavs with 18 points and also had 3 and notched 3 assists. Center Roy Hibbert was next with 17 points and also had 8 rebounds and a blocked shot. A.J. Price led the bench with 11 points and 2 assists, the Pacers had 5 players put double digit point sup but not a single player could eclipse 20 points on the game for Indiana.
The New Jersey nets in their latest defeat lost 105-100 at home against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Nets shot excellent that game hitting 51.4% from the field hitting 11-27 three’s and shooting 15-15 on the fould line. However New Jersey just simply could not overcome 20 turnovers in the game along with also being outrebounded 41-35.
Leading the New Jersey Nets in points against the Grizzlies was Deron Williams who was also the game leading scorer had an incredible game with 26 points and 11 assists. If anyone else on the Nets could have stepped besides Anthony Morow who had 17 points and 3 assists from the bench New Jersey could have walked away with a victory.
NBA Betting Predictions: As you will know from most of my predictions I just hate going against a team that has a huge consecutive winning streak against their opponent. With that being said I think the Indiana Pacers with Danny Granger possibly returning win tonight for their 11th straight victory against the New Jersey Nets.
