NBA Betting Predictions: Orlando Magic vs Miami Heat
Tonight the Orlando Magic travel to take on the Miami Heat who look to even up the series between these two teams at two a piece. BetDSI Sportsbook current live lines display the Heat as large 8 ½ point favorites against the Magic.
Friday the Miami Heat fended off a late surge by the Philadelphia Sixers to win on the road 84-78 in Philly. Miami pulled out the win despite being outrebounded 54-42 and making two more turnovers than the Sixers 16-14. The Heat shot 47.3% from the floor, hit 4 out of 12 three-point attempts, but shot awful from the line hitting only 52.6% of their 19 foul shots making ten.
Lebron James led the game in scoring with 29 points, made 7 rebounds, and also led the game with 8 dimes. Dwayne Wade did not put up the numbers he has of recent with only 12 points having trouble nailing his shots. Wade hit 6 out of 16 shots from the floor, missed both his three-point shots and both of his free throws for a tough night. Udonis Haslem led the bench with 10 points shooting 5-7 from the field, made 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.
The Orlando Magic put a nasty beating on the Nets on Friday winning at home 86-70. Orlando shot great from the field hitting 50.7% of their shots, but had difficulty from behind the arc making only 8 out of 29 three-point attempts. They also dominated despite turning the ball over a total of 20 times to the Nets 14.
Dwight Howard has not been putting up huge numbers recently and that did not change against the Nets, however he did lead the game with 18 points on very efficient shooting going 8-10 from the paint. Jameer Nelson led the game with 6 assists to go with his 13 point performance, Glen Davis matched him leading the bench with 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
NBA Betting Prediction: Neither the Miami Heat nor Orlando Magic have won a game in this series on the road this season. With the first two meetings decided by more than 10 points, the Heat were the closest to pulling off a road win in a 104-98 defeat in Orlando on March 13th. I’m looking for the Miami Heat to even up the series with a win tonight against the Orlando Magic.
