NBA Betting Predictions: Toronto Raptors vs NewYork Knicks
Tonight the New York Knicks look to remain undefeated since recently changing the HC position to interim head coach Mike Woodson, when they host the Toronto Raptors. BetDSI Sportsbook current live lines display the Knicks as heavy -9 point favorites over the Raptors.
The New York Knicks have gone 3-0 since the coaching change, with their last victory coming on the road 102-88 against the Pacers. New York did not shoot great hitting only 41.6% of their shots from the floor and 7 out of 24 three-point shots. However they were sent to the foul line for a staggering 40 foul shots which sealed Indiana’s fate.
Jeremy Lin led the Knicks in scoring with 19 points shooting 6-10 from the field, made 7 dimes, and only turned the rock over twice. Carmelo Anthony scored 16 and was matched by Amari Stoudemire who also had 8 rebounds. J.R. Smith led the bench with 11 points but had a tough night shooting only 4-12 from the paint but redeemed himself a little with three 3 pointers.
The Toronto Raptors have certainly not been playing their best basketball as they dropped their last game 107-103 against the NBA’s “ worst team “ the Charlotte Bobcats. Scoring certainly was not an issue for the Raptors as they shot a very impressive 52.1% from the floor and hit 8-18 three-point shots. However turnovers were certainly a problem as they made a disgusting 24 TO’s.
Jerryd Bayless led all Raptors scorers with 29 points on a ridiculously good 10-16 shooting from the floor and an even more impressive 5 of 6 three-point shots made. DeMar DeRozan put up 20 points on .500% shooting from the floor, and had a clutch 13 points from the bench on 6-9 from the field an making a three-point shot out of three.
NBA Betting Prediction: The Knicks have been playing impressive basketball for their “ Player’s coach “ one that seems to greatly inspire the team. The Toronto Raptors who shot impressively against their last opponents however are having issues with turnovers and defense, and for that reason I look for the Knicks to win their fourth straight.
