Well, if you like rivalries, then you are certain to get your belly full this weekend— be sure to leave some room, cause there will be plenty of leftovers…
Starting with the Iron Bowl—The state of Alabama gets divided on Saturday as #1 Alabama takes on #4 Auburn.
While this may be a holiday weekend, make no mistake… This 100 year old rivalry won’t be acknowledging any Thanksgiving politefulness —These teams don’t like each other—and neither do their respective family members .
Pass the peas please are words that will not be spoken amongst these faithful fans.
Smash mouth football – Get Ready!

Let’s pass things over Miss Iron Bowl herself! Oh Gabiiiiii! Who do you like this weekend Auburn o Alabama?
Gabi: Did you really just say ‘Pass the Peas Please”? What a dork! ;)
Whats up guys! This year’s Iron Bowl will be hosted by Auburn. The overall matchup between these two teams is 42-34-1 in favor of Alabama.
And while, Bama is the obvious favorite… Auburn may be the hottest team in college football right now, poised to shake up the entire BCS picture. A win by Auburn would do just that.
The Tigers have won their last 6 in a row, including an incredible win against Georgia last weekend.
Most impressive, is their 9-2 record Against The Spread.
The line is currently Bama laying 10 and a half points.
Randy, did you know a dork is a rare & strange bird often confused with a Turkey?
[STOP]
[START]
I did not know that, Gabs —well,… Dorky I may be, but a Zoologist I am not. Either way, I love me some turkey & football. Let’s get back at it.
Call me dorky- call me crazy but I’m going with Auburn for the upset of the year in the Iron Bowl.
Yep, and then it’s The Buckeyes taking on the Wolverines—this battle is about as big as they come.
Michigan would love nothing more than to play spoiler, while Ohio State has a slight chance of slipping into the BCS championship if they remain undefeated.
The Big House is always a tough venue, and even tougher in this season finale.
Let’s check the numbers. Gabi, whatcha got!
[STOP]
[START]
Well gang, Michigan is catching 14 and a half points right now… and that could move northward.
The Buckeyes are 6-0 against the spread in their last 6 meetings, and 4-0 against the spread in their last 4 games in The Big House.
Michigan is just 1-8 straight up against Ohio State in their last 9.
I gotta feeling not much is going to change that on Saturday—I like the Buckeyes to cover.
[STOP]
[START] [TOGETHER]
Yeah, Rivals or not… Michigan just doesn’t have the fire power to stay with Ohio State. Buckeyes will dominate!
Now, moving on to The Battle of Southern California – This should be a great game!
While neither team has a shot at the Pac-12 title, this game like all the rest of the rivalries this week will be about pride.
Gabi, do you think point spreads matter in games of pride?
[STOP]
[START]
GABI: What are you talking about, Randy? Of course they do….
USC is the favorite at the Coliseum laying 3 and a half points to the Bruins.
And the Trojans are red hot! Plus, the Bruins are coming off a really tough loss to Arizona St.
Trojan Pride will prevail! Go Trojans!
[STOP]
[START]
Guys, I’ve said it before… and I’ll say it again. Man can’t deny when a beautiful girl speaks…
Gonna have to lean heavily toward USC in this one!
With that…
Get yourselves ready for the most exciting weekend in College Football as Divided States and Crosstown Rivalries get it on over Thanksgiving.
Enjoy your families, food and football…
Til’ the next time, we remain….
Making Gravy,
Cheers
