NFL Betting Predictions: Arizona Cardinals vs Philadelphia Eagles
Sunday the Arizona Cardinals (2-6) travel to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the Philadelphia Eagles (3-5). BetDSI Sportsbook current Live Lines display the Eagles a huge -14 point favorites over the Cardinals.
Last week in QB Kevin Kolb’s absence John Skelton took over the Arizona Cardinals offense producing a 19-13 win over the Rams. Skelton played respectable (except for taking two safetys) going 20 for 35 for 22 yards a TD and no mistakes, while leading the team in rushing with 4 carrys for 38 yards. Seeing how the offense couldnt get anything done to win the game, CB Patrick Peterson took it upon himself to win the Cardinals the game with a 99 yard punt return for a TD to snap an Arizona 6 game losing streak.
Patrick Peterson came out to play, not only did he have the electrifying game winning return, but he also had 3 tackles and an interception. DE Calais Campbell had 6 tackles and 2 sacks on the day. The Arizona Cardinal defense ended the game giving up 383 total yards, 233 passing, and 150 rushing to the Rams last week.
The Philadelphia Eagles lost a tough game to the Bears last week 30-24. QB Michael Vick threw 21 completions on 38 attempts for 213 yards no touchdowns and an interception. RB LaSean McCoy came to showed up to play with 16 rushes for 71 yards one a 33 yard TD. McCoy also had 5 receptions for 46 yards, a longest of 13 yards. The Philadelphia Eagles offense ended with 330 yards on the day, 119 rushing, and 211 passing.
Philadelphia’s defense put in a terrible performance last week giving up 30 points to the Bears. They gave up 372 total yards, 208 passing, and 164 rushing yards. When your FS leads your team in tackles as Eagles Kurt Coleman did with 12 last week it usually indicates a problem.
Betting Prediction: I just dont think John Skelton and the Arizona Cardinals can do enough to beat a hungry Michael Vick and Philadelphia Eagle’s Team that is desperate for a win. I think the Eagles will knock off the Cardinals with ease in this one, but with the spread so high I the (Over) is my choice on this one.
