NFL Betting Predictions: Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks
The Atlanta Falcons offense last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers played awful. QB Matt Ryan only completed 26 of 47 passes for 330 yards 1 TD and 1 INT. Ryan was absolutely destroyed on a few hits in this game, and the Falcons had better get their offensive line woes fixed real soon or this is going to be a long year. The rushing game that looked so promising the week before against the Eagles defense did not arrive for this game. RB Michael Turner rushed the ball 11 times for a terrible 11 yard total.
The Atlanta defense did enough to hold the Bucs to 16 points on 295 total yards, 115 rushing, and 180 passing. The defense also had 2 interceptions and stuffed the Bucs on third down consistently only allowing 5 out of 14, 3rd down conversions. Basically if the Falcons offense had showed up to play they would have won.
The Seattle Seahawks offense has been just outright terrible this season. QB Tavaris Jackson on the year has as many INT as he does TD’s at 2 a peice and only 527 yards. The running game has been no help as RB Marshawn Lynch is leading the way with a terrible 117 yards on 38 attempts for a low 3.1 yards per an attempt. The only rushing touchdown on this team has come from Tarvaris Jackson which was also their only touchdown last week against the Arizona Cardinals
The Seahawk defense was pretty good against a terrible Arizona Cardinal offense. They did manage to grab two interceptions, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. They only allowed 324 total yards, 90 on the ground, and 252 passing yards. If this defense is clearly out playing their offense, they will have to keep teams to a very low score to pull out some wins this year.
My Prediction: The Atlanta Falcons needed this game to get back on track. The way the Seahawks played against a very weak Cardinals team last week, I just dont see them standing much of a chance at all in this one. I expect the Falcons offense to look as high powered as we know it can be when properly clicking so get your bets in at BetDSI, take the Atlanta Falcons at -4 1/2 against the Seattle Seahawks, and remember:
