NFL Betting Predictions: Cleveland Brows vs Cincinnati Bengals
Sunday at 1pm Eastern, the Cleveland Browns travel to Paul Brown Stadium to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. BetDSI Sportsbook current Live Lines display the Bengals as -300 favorites giving up -7 points to the Browns.
The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off of a very tough 31-24 loss where the game ended on the 7 yard line of the Ravens, with the Bengals unable to sore the tying TD. Andy Dalton put up good yardage (373) and a TD, however his 3 interceptions really hurt his team in this matchup. RB Cedric Benson ran the ball 15 times for 41 yards and 2 TD’s, and WR Jerome Simpson had a huge day making 8 catches for 152 yards.
The Bengals defense had not been as steady as weeks past, as they gave up 373 total yards, 105 rushing, and 268 passing. CB Adam Jones led his team in tackles with 7, while DT Geno Atkins had the teams only sack, and CB Nate Clements had his teams only interception. The Cincinnati Bengals still sit at 6-4 and could easily make a playoff run, however their defense will certainly need to pick it up.
The Cleveland Browns offense has only exceeded 17 points once this season, in week two against the lowly Colts. Last week they only put up 14 in a win over the Jaguars. QB Colt McCoy didn’t do much in his 17 completions gaining 199 yards a TD and an interception. Chris Ogbonnaya did have a big day though running the ball 21 times for 115 yards and a TD, also having 2 receptions for another 19 yards. Rookie WR Greg Little once again led his team in receiving with 5 receptions for 59 yards.
Besides allowing the Jaguars to convert almost 50% of the time on third down 7/15, they played pretty tough football only allowing 10 points. On the day they gave up 303 total yards, 195 passing, and 108 rushing. DE Jabaal Sheard had the teams only sack and forced a fumble, while linebacker D’Qwell Jackson led the team with 9 tackles.
Betting Prediction: The Cincinnati Bengals at 6-4 look to be competiting for a playoff spot this year, while the Cleveland Browns at 4-6 still have some work ahead of them. The Browns have very limited playmakers while the Bengals definitely have a few players that can score some points. WR AJ Green maybe back from his leg injury giving Bengals QB Andy Dalton his best receiving threat back.
