NFL Betting Predictions: Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Saturday night we have an NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who will be at home. BetDSI Sportsbook current live lines display the Cowboys as -300 favorites giving up -6 1/2 points to the Buccaneers.
The Dallas Cowboys have now lost back to back games with last weeks 37-34 tough loss to the New York Giants. Dallas Quarterback Tony Romo had an awesome day throwing 21 completions on 31 attempts for 321 yards and 4 touchdowns. Felix Jones had a good game as well rushing 16 times for 106 yards. Laurent Robinson led the team in receiving with 4 catches 137 yards and a touchdown.
Last week the Dallas Cowboys defense just did not show up to play and was the reason for their loss to the Giants. They gave up 510 total yards, 110 rushing, and 400 passing. They had no sacks and the only interception came from linebacker Sean Lee who also led the team with 9 tackles.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on dire straights as they have lost seven straight. Most recently they were not just beaten by the lowly Jaguars but rather man-handled decisively 41-14. The offense had a combined 6 fumbles, 4 of which were lost. QB Josh Freeman just can’t seem to bring back last years form as and last week threw only 181 yards no touchdowns and 2 interceptions. LeGarrette Blount had a decent day with 18 carries 74 yards and a touchdown. The Bucs passing game just cannot get it together as Kellen Winslow led the team in receiving with only 2 receptions for 38 yards.
Veteran cornerback Ronde Barber of the Buccaneers still has it, he had 5 tackles and an interception last week against the Jags. DE Adrian Clayborn had 4 tackles and a sack, but apart from a few good plays not much can be said about a defense that gave up 325 total yards for two touchdowns running and two passing to a weak Jacksonville team.
My Prediction: The Dallas Cowboys are going to abuse the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cowboys need every win to get in the playoffs and Dallas’ head coach Jason Garret knows a loss against a Bucs team with 7 straight losses would probably result in his departure.
