NFL Betting Predictions: Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Redskins
Sunday the Dallas Cowboys (5-4) travel to FedEx Field to take on the Washington Redskins (3-6). BetDSI Sportsbook current Live Lines display the Cowboys as a -350 favorite giving up -7 points to the Redskins.
The Dallas Cowboys have won back to back games, with the latest a one sided 44-7 beatdown of the Bills. QB Tony Romo had a phenomenal game throwing 23 completiong on 26 attempts for 270 yards and 3 TD’s. Rookie runningback DeMarco Murray had another great game last week running 20 times for 135 yards for a stunning 6.8 yards per a carry, and a touchdown. WR Dez Bryant had some great catches making 6 receptions for 74 yards and a TD, while Laurent Robinson had 3 receptions for 73 yards and 2 TD’s.
The Cowboys defense gave the Bills troubles all day long. They only allowed 271 total yards, 135 rushing, and 136 passing. LB DeMarcus Ware is having a heck of a season with 13 total sacks already, and had one against Buffalo. CB Terrance Newman is about as good as it gets when he is healthy, and displayed his talents intercepting the ball twice last week.
The Washington Redskins have seen better days, after winning 3 of their first 4, they then proceeded to lose 5 straight games. Last week they were beat 20-9 by the lowly Dolphins in which the Redskins offense looked lost, and handed head coach Mike Shanahan his longest losing streak in his career. QB Rex Grossman was a surprise start for Washington and he played as terrible as expected going 21/32 for 215 yards and 2 interceptions.
The Redskins defense got hit up for 20 points last week allowing 303 total yards, 200 passing, and 103 rushing. Only thing good that can be said about Washington’s defense is that rookie LB Ryan Kerrigan continues to impress as he had 6 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. DB Kevin Barnes also had a good day with 4 tackles and an interception.
Betting Prediction: Either the linesmakers at BetDSI did us a favor, or the betting public forgot just how bad the Washington Redskins are this year. I don’t see how Washington can even keep this one close against the hot Dallas Cowboys.
