NFL Divisional round this Sunday, and first game on the agenda is the Houston Texans traveling to take on the Baltimore Ravens. BetDSI Sportsbook current NFL Live Betting Lines display the Baltimore Ravens as -350 favorites giving up -7 1/2 points to the Houston Texans.

The Baltimore Ravens have notched another very successful year under their belt with a 12-4 record. Joe Flacco’s stats are down from last year slightly, this after they fired his QB coach and him not being happy about it. Flacco threw 3,610 yards this year, 20 touchdowns to 12 interceptions. He had alot of help from Ray Rice 1364 yards on the ground with 12 touchdowns, also 76 receptions 704 yards and 3 more scores. Ricky Williams ran well too runnin gfor 444 yards and 2 TD’s. Rookie receiver Torrey Smith had an excellent year with 50 receptions 841 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Consistantly one of the best defenses in the league the Baltimore Ravens are right back on top 5 of all categories allowing per game average of 16.6 points per game (3rd in league), 288 total yards (3rd), 196 passing yards a game (4th), 92 yards on the ground a game (2nd). Future Hall of Fame Linebacker Ray Lewis led the Ravens in tackles this year with 95, grabbed 2 sacks, 1 interception, and forced 2 fumbles. LB Terrell Suggs led the team with an impressive 14 sacks on the year.

Last week the Houston Texans disposed of the Bengals 31-10 to advance in the playoffs. In the his teams only franchise playoff game rookie QB T.J Yates played efficiently throwing 11 completions for 159 yards and a touchdown. Runningback Arian Foster lit it up running the ball 24 times for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns. Receiver Andre Johnson back from injury had 5 receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown.

The Houston Texans defense was all over the Bengals three different players grabbed interceptions, while four different players got to the opposing QB for a sack. Cornerback Jonathan Joseph led the Texans with 6 tackles and an interception. Defensive End Antonio Smith had 5 tackles and a sack, and DE J.J. Watt had 2 tackles, a sack, and an interception.

My Prediction: It has been a great run for the Houston Texans this season, and adapted well for losing both their first and second string QB’s in making it to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. There is no shame in the loss they are going to take tonight on the road against the Baltimore Ravens.
