NFL Betting Predictions: Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans
Sunday at 1pm Eastern, the Indianapolis Colts (0-7) travel to LP Field to take on the Tennessee Titans (3-3). BetDSI Sportsbook current Live Lines show the Titans as a high -440 favorites over the struggling Colts, giving up 8 1/2 points via the spread.
The Indianapolis Colts appear to not be much of a franchise without star QB Peyton Manning, who knows if they will think it is too soon to groom a QB via the draft. In the meantime, QB Curtis Painter has been sucking it up terribly, because a decent outing 2 weeks ago in a loss against the Chiefs. RB Delone Carter had a decent game rushing 10 times for 89 yards and a TD, however the Colts RB’s as a core have been hovering at the 4 yards per carry mark all year.
What can you really say about a defense that gave up 62 points? Peyton Manning doesn’t go out and tackle, Manning doesnt go out to cover receivers, to stuff the run at the lime. This team is in big trouble in the long run, and no QB on earth can fix their defensive woes, they need to make some serious moves this off-season.
The Titans are coming off a nasty loss to the Houston Texans in a 41-7 shelling. Here’s the ugly stats ladies and gentlemen, The Titans managed a whole 148 total yards, 53 rushing, and 116 passing, in an ugly display last week. RB Chris Johnson is showing why the team had their issues paying so much to a runningback as he has an amazing 2.9 yards per a carry so far this year.
When a team gives up 41 points not much you can say but the bad, so here it is. The Titans gave up a insane 518 total yards, a (wtf?!) 222 total rushing yards, and 296 passing yards last week against the Texans. Houston could seemingly do what it wanted when it wanted against this defense, converting on 3rd down more than half the time.
My Prediction: While I think QB Matt Hasselbeck Titans have been over acheiving to even get to (3-3), I know they are nearly as bad as the Colts. I’m looking at the moneyline for the Titans all the way on this one.
