NFL Betting Predictions: Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans
AFC South division rivals face off this weekend when the Indianapolis Colts take to the road to play the Tennessee Titans. With only three teams above .500 in the AFC any team could stake a claim to the playoffs in the division making every game crucial. BetDSI Sportsbook current live lines display the Titans as -190 favorites giving up -3 ½ points to the Colts.
Last week the Colts pushed to 3-3 with a 17-13 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Rookie QB Andrew Luck didn’t light it up with 16 completions on 29 attempts for 186 yards no scores but he played mistake free not throwing any interceptions. The Colts running game was moving the football with Vick Ballad rushing 20 times for 84 yards and Delone Carter carrying 11 times for 41 yards.
Indianapolis defense sealed the game off holding the Browns scoreless in the fourth quarter, which was certainly needed as their offense didn’t score either. Allowing just 55 yards on the ground there was just no give up front as Cleveland rookie runnning back Trent Richardson would find out, with 8 for carries 8 yards. Free Safety Antoine Bethea led the Colts in tackles with six total tackles.
The Tennessee Titans won their week seven match up in a 35-34 slugfest against the Buffalo Bills. QB Matt Hasselbeck threw 22 completions on 33 attempts for 205 yards and a touchdown. RB Chris Johnson had his best game of the season running 18 times for 195 yards and two scores.
However truth is it took one of the worst defenses to ever suit up in this years Bills team for the Titans Chris Johnson to look like a star running back again. Also helped Matt Hasselbeck play one of his best games in awhile. Their defense couldn’t stop anything, Buffalo had 3 passing touchdowns and 3 on the ground.
Take the Indianapolis Colts on the moneyline or with the points in this one, the Tennessee Titans are not that good. Despite their huge offensive display last week Tennessee barely beat the lowly Bills with their defense unable to stop anything.
