NFL Betting Predictions: Miami Dolphins vs Dallas Cowboys
The Miami Dolphins will be traveling Thanksgiving day to take on the Dallas Cowboys. BetDSI Sportsbook current Live Lines show the Dallas Cowboys as -7 favorites against the Cowboys this Thursday. Both teams are coming into this matchup on three game winning streaks.
The Miami Dolphins last Sunday dominated in all aspects of the game offense, defense, and special teams. in a 35-8 victory over the Bills. QB Matt Moore who has been improving weekly really took another leap forward. He threw 14 completions on 20 attempts for 160 yards and 3 TD’s. All three touchdowns thrown were to different receivers. The running game did enough to help keep the chains moving with RB Daneil Thomas rushing 15 times for 50 yards, and Reggie Bush rushing 15 times for 32 yards and a touchdown. Bush also had 4 receptions for 34 additional yards. TE Anthony Fasano had his fourth TD reception of the year on a one yard goal line target.
Impressively the Dolphins defense only gave up two field goals the whole game against Buffalo’s potent offense. They only gave up 245 total yards, 204 passing, and only 41 total rushing yards. They had only 2 sacks and a forced fumble, but the pressure was felt all day, and they tackled well making the plays needed to keep the Bills from gaining first downs.
Last week against the Redskins the Dallas Cowboys passing attack was really clicking in a 27-24 victory. With Tony Romo completing 23 of 37 passes for 292 yards and 3 TD’s, all three of which to different receivers. The running game did not contribute a whole lot for Dallas as DeMarco Murray had 25 carries for only 73 yards, and Felix Jones a paltry 5 carries for 18 yards. This victory was the product of Tony Romo really spreading the ball around well to a bunch of great playmakers.
The Dallas Cowboys pass defense looked very suspect against a weak Washington passing attack led by up and down QB Rex Grossman. They gave up 276 passing yards, and let WR Jabar Gaffney (who is no world beater) catch 7 balls for 115 yards and a TD. LB Demarcus Ware had a sack bringing his total to 14 on the year. CB Orlando Scandrick made the games only interception for Dallas his first of the year.
Betting Prediction: The Dallas Cowboys have a lot more explosive offensive weapons in their arsenal than the overachieving and improving Miami Dolphins. I am very impressed with Dolphins QB Matt Moore’s improvements however I do not think it will be enough to outscore this Cowboys offense that has been rolling the past three weeks.
