NFL Betting Predictions: Oakland Raiders at Buffalo Bills
This Sunday at 1pm Eastern, the Oakland Raiders travel to Ralph Wilson Stadium to take on the Buffalo Bills. BetDSI.eu sportsbook http://betdsi.com/live-lines/football currently have the Bills as a -175 favorite giving up -3 points to the Raiders.
The Buffalo Bills offense last week absolutely tore into the Kansas City Chiefs for 41 points. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick looked great throwing 17 completions on 25 attempts for 208 yards, a 68% completion rate, and a ridiculous 133.0 QB rating. The running game for the Bills showed up to play as well with RB Fred Jackson running the ball effectively 20 times for 112 yards a 5.6 yards per carry.
The Bills defense were almost lights out as they allowed only 213 yards , 108 of it on the ground , and only a ridiculously low 105 yards passing. The Bills defense got to the QB for 2 sacks forced 2 fumbles, and grabbed an interception which was returned for 30 yards. Bills fans have a lot of things to be excited about this year, as they have looked better in that opening game than they have in a long time. If the Bills were in another division they would be my dark horse for a playoff team, however playing in one if not the toughest division in football it just simply inconceivable.
The Oakland Raiders offense was also really good last week with QB Jason Campbell throwing 13 completions on 22 attempts for 105 yards, 59.1 completion rate, 1TD 0 INT, and a 86.4 QB rating. The Raiders running game was really good and carried this team to victory as Darren McFadden was almost unstoppable running 22 times for 150 yards a really high 6.8 yards per carry and busting loose on one run for 47 yards.
The Raiders defense was great on the ground only allowing 38 total rushing yards, however were cut up in the air for 272 passing yards, and allowed 25 total first downs. However with that being said they showed some great ability to get to the QB. All-Pro DE Richard Seymour is still heckling QB’s as he grabbed up 2 sacks last week, and the team had 5 total a sick number for one game. The Raider defense also forced a ridiculous 3 fumbles , and grabbed an interception.
My Prediction: I refuse to go digging up the stats this late at night on when the last time either of these teams had a shot in hell of being 2-0 to start the season, but I can say it probably was a long time ago. I believe the bills will win this one with Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing all over the Raiders poor secondary as long as his team can keep him upright against a good Oakland pass rush.
Take the Bills on the moneyline it maybe a close one.
My little brother said last night while talking about my Kansas City Chiefs woes stated ” Its The Year Of The Buffalo !!! ” in which I replied ” The Year of Fitzpatrick !!! ” Little brother proceeded to read over the Bills schedule to me in which me replying after each matchup whether I believe they had a shot in hell of winning he yelled ” Your now looking at the 9-10 win Buffalo Bills !!! ” I laughed hysterically at such a thought, and after such a rowdy conversation I simply cannot go against the Bills.
