NFL Betting Predictions: San Francisco 49ers vs Baltimore Ravens
The final game of Turkey day will be San Francisco 49ers traveling to M&T Bank Stadium to take on the Baltimore Ravens. BetDSI Sportsbook current Live Betting Lines display Baltimore as -3 point favorites over the red hot 49ers.
No Team in the NFL besides the Packers are riding as high as the San Francisco 49ers who are on a eight game winning streak. When you consider they have pretty much the same roster as the previous year they are on one of the best turnarounds the NFL has ever seen. Last week they played really well on offense in their 23-7 victory over the Cardinals, bringing their winning streak to 8 games. QB Alex Smith who has been so improved this year under Jim Harbaugh’s system, went 20/38 for 267 yards, 2TD’s, and 1 interception. Frank Gore had a hard fought game running 24 times for 88 yards. WR Michael Crabtree had an excellent day catching 7 balls for 120 yards.
The San Francisco 49ers defense has been stingy this year, and last week was no exception. They dominated the Cardinals all day, only allowing 229 total yards, 149 passing, and 80 rushing. Patrick Willis had 7 tackles an interception and a forced fumble. While FS Dashon Goldson and SS Donte Whitner both had interceptions.
The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a huge 31-24 win of their own against a very tough Bengals team, moving them back on top of the AFC North. QB Joe Flacco threw 17 completions on 27 attempts, for 270 yards, 2 TD’s, and 1 INT. The Ravens got RB Ray Rice more involved in this game, and it paid off. Rice ran 20 times for 104 yards and 2 TD’s, one carry was a huge 59 yard play. As usually Ray Rice also got involved in the passing game catching 5 balls for 43 yards. The rookie WR Torrey Smith had another huge game this year, with 6 receptions for 165 yards and a TD.
The Ravens defense playing without their heart LB Ray Lewis, had a bad game against the Bengals. They allowed 483 yards, 364 passing, and 119 rushing. However not to be picked on all day, Baltimore’s secondary made some huge plays with Ed Reed, Ladarus Webb, and Jimmy Smith all coming down with interceptions.
Betting Prediction: With the inconsistencies of the Baltimore Ravens this year, it is very difficult to go against the San Francisco 49ers when they play so good week in and week out. I love the 49ers here on the moneyline or at +3.
