NFL Betting Predictions: Tampa Bay vs Dallas Cowboys
In this matchup we have two teams with losses in the previous week trying to right the ship as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to take on the Dallas Cowboys. Last week the Buccs looked a lot better in their 41-34 loss to the Giants than the Cowboys did in their awful 27-7 defeat on the road against the Seahawks.
Tampa played some good football in week two against the Giants picking off Eli Manning three times and leading through half the game until an insanely gutsy 25 point fourth quarter performance from NY. Bucs QB Josh Freeman threw 15 completions on 28 attempts for 243 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Running back Doug martin ran 20 times for 66 yards and a score, but the biggest effort came from wide receiver Vincent Jackson who had 5 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown.
The Cowboys looked like a team that did not show up to play football last Sunday and certainly not the follow up they wanted to their week one win over the Giants. QB Tony Romo barely completed 50% of his 40 passes for 251 yards a score and a interception. The running game couldn’t really get moving either with DeMarco Murray having 12 carries for 44 yards.
Adding to the Cowboys troubles was their defense which couldn’t stop the run and gave up 122 yards rushing to Marshawn Lynch, and made the Seahawks rookie QB Russel Wilson look very good with 15 completions on 20 attempts for 151 yards and a score.
NFL Betting Predictions Tampa Bay vs Dallas Cowboys:
The Dallas Cowboys will get an ear full if they lose two in a row with this game being at home against the mediocre Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I see Dallas making a statement in this one with Romo playing remarkably better than last weekend covering the -8 point spread against the traveling Bucs.
