NFL Betting Predictions: Tennessee Titans vs Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills come into this matchup having lost four consecutive games. Their last game was a 28-24 heartbreaking come from behind loss to the Jets. They played much better than weeks past with a great game by Ryan Fitzpatrick who threw 26 completions on 39 attempts for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns. CJ Spiller starting for the injured starting RB Fred Jackson ran 19 times for 55 yards. Three different Buffalo receivers caught a touchdown pass in an impressive passing attack.
Buffalo’s defense did little to help their offense who played a good game. The Bills gave up 310 total yards against the Jets, 138 rushing, and 180 passing yards. They amounted no pass rush not getting a single sack, no forced fumbles, and only an interception by CB Drayton Florence. Their secondary was also terrible getting shredded for four touchdowns in the air.
The Tennessee Titans won 23-17 last week in a tough fought game against the Buccaneers. It was a wet game possibly affecting some of Matt Hasselbeck’s throws as he went 19 for 34 for 160 yards, a TD, and 2 INT’s. Chris Johnson had his best game of the year running 23 times for 190 yards. WR Lavelle Hawkins led the team in receiving with 5 catches for 51 yards, while Damian Williams had the teams only receiving touchdown of the game. Kicker Rob Bironas made 3 of 4 field goal attempts with a longest of 52 yards to put his team above the Bucs.
Against Tampa Bay the Titans defense was stout giving up only 17 points on 308 total yards, 122 rushing, and 186 of which were passing. There were some definite playmakers on Tennessee’s defense last week as Dave Ball tore it up with 4 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble. MLB not only led the team with 10 tackles but had a forced fumble, and four Titan’s players total had forced fumbles on the game for turnovers.
Betting Prediction: The Buffalo Bills offense appears to have gotten back on track and should end up playing like they did earlier in the season against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans on the other hand may have turned around their running game with Chris Johnson’s huge game last week and may present some problems against the Bills who are not great defending the run. I have the Bills coming out with a win at home take them on the money line for a little extra bonus.
