NFL Week 7: Over and Under Free Picks

Ok there’s a time when NFL betting fans just don’t know whether they want to bet on football or not, especially because the lines seem like they won’t give the players a break; that’s the time when you bet the game total. Here are my Over and Under Free Picks for this NFL Week 7:

Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders — Over and Under 41

Division rivalry with a lot in play for both teams; the Raiders will play a new quarterback from the start, meaning it could be a game with several turnovers. Also, Kansas City lately has shown they can score some points, but we also know they can receive some too.

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Oakland’s last 6 games when playing at home against Kansas City.

Simmons’ pick: UNDER.

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings — Over and Under 47

Rookie quarterback Christian Pounder will make his debut with the Vikings; this will definitely give Minnesota a spark on offense to have the game close to a touchdown or less against the defending champions. Also, NFL betting fans should know whenever Aaron Rodgers feels somebody is disrespecting him and his team, he goes out and scores a bunch of points; he still plays with a chip on his shoulder.

The total has gone OVER in 8 of Green Bay’s last 11 games when playing on the road against Minnesota, and in 5 of Minnesota’s last 6 games when playing Green Bay.

Simmons’ pick: OVER

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans — Over and Under 44 ½

Here are too teams fighting for the AFC South first place and they’ll do it with defense, not with offense. Both teams arrive to this game without their main wide receivers and with very fluky running games.

Simmons’ pick: UNDER.

A few other notes: the idea is that you take the OVER in the Saints vs Colts games, but the truth is Indianapolis won’t be able to move the ball, and New Orleans is without their head coach on the field. Believe it or not, the absent of coach Sean Payton against the Bucs affected the offense rhythm and gave the Saints their second loss of the season.
