NFL Week Eight Triple Play – Free Picks

The bye weeks continue in full force this week, taking Atlanta, Chicago, Green Bay, New York Jets, Oakland and Tampa Bay out of the wagering equation.

Apologies for the lack of our usual write-ups today.

Looking through the card this weekend there isn’t much that stands out to me, it happens now and then. Typically I like to look for small dogs that I feel can win outright or short favorites – laying big numbers is a risky business that I tend to avoid. Due to my indifference on anything straight on this card, I’m going to fire on three different teasers for Sunday. Again, sorry for the lack of write-ups.

QB Matt Hasselbeck Should Roll Over the Colts

2-Team 6.5-Point Teaser -120: Tennessee Titans -2, Houston Texans -2.5

3-Team 6-Point Teaser +180: Tennessee Titans -2.5, Pittsburgh +8.5, Seattle +8.5

3-Team Special 10-Point Teaser -120: Houston Texans +1, New York Giants +0.5, San Francisco +1.5

As mentioned I am not typically a favorite player but Tennessee, Houston , NY Giants and San Francisco are teams I just don’t see losing this weekend. Pittsburgh will be tough at home and I think they can hang tough with New England and backdoor cover this one if that is even necessary – Patriots defense should keep the Steelers in this one. Seattle is a tough home, gets QB Tarvaris Jackson back, have a very good defense against the run and Bengals will be without suspended starting RB Cedric Benson.
