NFL Week Fifteen Triple Play – Free Picks

Finally back at things in the NFL and looking to continue the momentum of what has been a profitable football betting season thus far.

10:00 AM Pacific: Tennessee Titans (-6.5) at Indianapolis Colts (41.5)

News that Indianapolis Head Coach Jim Caldwell will be job hunting if the Colts go winless adds a little motivation, which has been desperately lacking from Indy, in what is a game they actually have a chance in. The motivation of not being the first time in their history to go 0-14 is one thing, but they have started to play a little better. QB Dan Orlovsky has been better than Curtis Painter and as a result the offense has shown a little bit of life in recent weeks. Colts ran well against the Titans when the two first met and the Titans have a wobbly quarterback to go with an inconsistent running game. I’ll buy a half point to get +7 but likely won’t need it. Titans have dropped 7 of 8 at Indianapolis (okay, maybe Peyton Manning had a hand in a few of those).

I am betting on Indianapolis +7 -120

RB Willis McGahee - Another Pleasant Surprise

1:15 PM Pacific: Denver Broncos (46) at New England Patriots (-7.5)

The Patriots defense is not very good but their offense sure is effective so I have no reservations about going Over here. New England and Washington combined for 61 points last week and convincing me that the Redskins offense is much better than Denver won’t get us very far. The Pats gave up over 430 yards for the 3rd consecutive week and I expect Denver to mix the pass, run, and whatever QB Tim Tebow does, with success. They have a solid rushing attack led by RB Willis McGahee and should keep the New England defense off-balance to have success. Washington totaled 170 yards on the ground last week, in short, both these teams will score – and likely a lot.

My wager is on the Broncos-Patriots Over 46

Teaser Time: 3-Team 6.5-point Teaser +160

Giants’ offense is impressive and while I don’t expect any type of blowout I think they will be able to handle the Redskins here at home as they push for the division title. They have 3 talented receivers and two good running backs with different skill sets to compliment a good pressure defense. Raiders are a tough team and I think they will be fighting to the end with Detroit. The Lions go east-to-west and Oakland is not an easy place to play at. Arizona has been winning lately, and even with the Browns turning to QB Seneca Wallace, the Cardinals should keep the momentum going.

Three Team 6.5-Point Teaser +160: NY Giants PK, Oakland +7.5, Arizona PK
