Oakland Raiders Regular Season Total Wins Betting 2012
The Oakland Raiders started out very promising in 2011 with younger players stepping up and QB Jason Campbell playing the best ball of his career. Then Campbell went down , the Raiders spent a boatload of draft picks to pick up Carson Palmer who had been sitting on the couch for months refusing to dress for Cincinnati. Oakland and Palmer found out how hard it is as a QB when you have spent time out of the league going 8-8. BetDSI Sportsbook current live lines display the over under on the raiders at 7 wins for the 2012 season.
Carson Palmer will get a full season to show Oakland he wasn’t a bad trade. He will have a few young receiving options in Darrius Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore, and Jacoby Ford. While running back Darren McFadden will have to show he can stay healthy a full season and be a full time back. He has yet to remain healthy a full season in his short career.
Despite not having any early draft selections the Raiders did well to add some talented youth to their team. In the third round they picked upa tough lineman in Tony Bergstrom from Utah, and in the fifth may have gotten a steal with DE Jack Crawford out of Penn State. Juron Criner WR out of Arizona will have a shot at making the team as well.

The Oakland Raiders were heading in the right direction but may have taken a step back with Carson Palmer. QB Jason Campbell was playing really good before his injury and they may have wanted to give him time to come back and show he can lead this team. Now Carson Palmer will have had a season of work to assimilate him back to the game , Raiders fans will have to hope he can get his mojo back.
