J.J. Watt is Having a Better Summer Than You

It's summer time and the living is easy for J.J. Watt.

He’s been named the NFL’s best player by his fellow players, he’s got a $100 million contract extension and he’s been moonlighting as a bouncer for the Zac Brown Band. Yes, there’s little doubt that Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is having a much better summer than you.

This last week was no different.

Saturday, the All-Pro defensive end hung out with Arnold Schwarzenegger and managed to fit in a post-dinner work out. Schwarzenegger shared the results on his Instagram page.

Watt equally enjoyed his man-date with the Terminator: Gensys star.

Watt and Arnold’s friendship began at the CMT Awards two weeks ago, where Watt showed Schwarzenegger his own Terminator impression.

Schwarzenegger and Watt hit it off so well, that the former Mr. Olympia sent the entire Texans squad to a screening of his new movie and offered Watt a part in the next Terminator.

Now, all that is cool enough on its own, but this wasn’t Watt’s first positive run-in with a celebrity last week. Watt hung out with his celebrity crush Jennifer Aniston.

Watt wasn’t disappointed by his time with Aniston. In fact, it got him thinking about his future.

Which might have been why things have cooled off between him and professional tennis player and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Caroline Wozniacki.

Plus, she might have some competition from another lady with a little crush on Watt.

Watt spent the time he wasn’t working out with Arnold or rubbing elbows with attractive female athletes and celebrities to hang out with the Chelsea Football Club, watching them beat Sunderland in the Premier League Championship.

It’s not all been a part of Watt. As part of his summer tour of awesome he made time to announce a fan’s pregnancy to her oblivious husband on Twitter…

… and delivered some much-needed social media advice to high school kids, telling them they should “Read each tweet about 95 times before you send it. Look at every Instagram post about 95 times before you send it. A reputation takes years and years and years to build it takes one press of a button to ruin it.”

And, if that wasn’t enough, his charity, the J.J. Watt Foundation formed to help fund middle school after-school sports, has just passed the million dollar mark in donations.

And we’ve still got a month to go before the NFL super star completely takes over your TV on HBO’s Hard Knocks. It’s not a bad time to be J.J. Watt.
