With the San Francisco 49ers being the favorites in this match-up there are a wealth of great value props on the Ravens including the Ravens to score first at +115, San Fran is listed at -145. The Ravens were the first to score in their first post-season game against the Colts with a Justin Tucker field goal in the second quarter.
In the following playoff game against the Broncos the Ravens scored second with a touchdown pass from QB Joe Flacco to Torrey Smith, and were also second to score in the championship playoff game against the Patriots with a two yard touchdown run from Ray Rice.
The 49ers in their first playoff game against the Green Bay Packers were second to score as QB Collin Kaepernick threw a pick six to cornerback Sam Shields. However we all know what happened once they got moving. A 20 yard Collin Kapernick touchdown run in the first quarter would signal what the future of the game held as San Francisco steam rolled the Packers.
San Francisco was also second to score against the Atlanta Falcons in the championship game. Atlanta QB Matt Ryan had thrown a 46 yard touchdown bomb to WR Julio Jones, and a Matt Bryant 35 yard field goal all came before the Niners got their first score, a 15 yard touchdown run from LaMichael James.
It looks like the Ravens to scoring first at +115 is a good play , while the San Francisco 49ers to score the first touchdown at -145 is a good one because when the Niners score they get in the end zone. The Ravens have not been putting up touchdowns till the second quarter in the playoffs while the offensive threat of Collin Kaepernick has been getting the ball in the end zone early.
