The match marks Saffiedine’s UFC debut after spending the last few years with the defunct Strikeforce, while Lim is 2-0 in the UFC and is part of a solid stable of talent the UFC is amassing from that country Right now, Saffiedine is a little over a 2 to 1 favorite at (-220) with the comeback on Lim at (+185).

The co-main event of the evening features undefeated up and comer (8-0) Sean Soriano as he faced the extremely experienced Japanese star Tatsuya Kawajiri. Kawajiri is favored at (-185) with the comeback on Soriano sitting at (+160).
Soriano has been impressive in running his record to 8-0, but the 24 year old is making his UFC debut and that always has an effect. That is where Kawajiri’s massive experience advantage will come into play, as he has been in big fight before and should not suffer from the same jitters as Soriano. Toss in the effects of traveling around the world, and Soriano has a tall order to break through for a win.
Kawajiri is 35 years old, and should he start to show signs of the mileage he has, then Soriano may have a chance to notch the victory.
Saffiedine is rightfully the favorite in his match over Lim, who is known as ‘The Ace’. Lee’s two UFC victories come by KO, but trying to stand and mix it up with Saffiedine is a tall order. Saffiedine is a very skilled stand up fighter who has used his leg kicks to chop down opponents in other matches. Lim however, has a nearly 5 inch height advantage, and that should translate into a reach advantage as well. Saffiedine has not been stopped in his MMA career, with his only three losses coming by decision.
Both main event matches have the potential for fireworks and should be worth watching. There will be no immediate title shots resulting from winning any of these matches, but that is besides the point, as none of these men can afford a stumble at this point in their careers.
