Rashad Evans -170 vs Phil Davis +140
I would say that this matchup is the hardest fight on the card to give a prediction on. Jason Nawara from Middle Easy, Jeremy Botter from Heavy MMA and even Bas Rutten from Inside MMA give the overall advantage to Rashad Evans. Check out how Bas Rutten scores each fighter under 6 fight stats below:
I slightly disagree with his assessment. I would give both the wrestling and grappling advantage to Phil “Mr. Wonderful” and say that their strength is even. I have to give the overall advantage to Rashad “Suga” Evans only because he has wins over tougher opponents compared to Phil’s hit list. I think this fight is going to be close and wouldn’t be surprised at all if Phil comes out on top. Davis has great submission skills and more submission wins than Rashad has. If Davis wins I see it coming from submission.
Chael Sonnen -445 Vs Michael Bisping +345
This fight is a no-brainer, Sonnen all the way. Chael has the advantage anywhere the fight goes and I see him scoring a win within the first 2 rounds via TKO by ground and pound. Bisping has good standup and great submission defense so he does have a shot at winning but that’s a long shot. If Bisping wants to win than he is going to have to take the fight to the floor because apparently that is Sonnen’s weak spot. Chael has been defeated 8 times via submission while Bisping has never been submitted.
