Warriors Take On Struggling Cavaliers
The Golden State Warriors look for a season best fifth straight win against a struggling Cleveland Cavaliers team. The Warriors are 18-13 and surging while the Cavaliers are 10-19 having lost four in a row and just lost Andrew Bynum due to suspension.
Friday night the Warriors really put it on the Suns while at home 115-86 out-scoring theme very quarter of the game. Golden State shot 52.9% from the floor against Phoenix and hit 8 of 20 from behind the arc shooting really well on the night.
Leading the Warriors in scoring was Klay Thompson putting up 21 points on 9 for 11 shooting. Forward David Lee scored 17 to go with 7 rebounds and guard Steven Curry had 14 points to go with 2 assists. Golden State had two players put up double digit points off the bench in Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green both scoring 11 points each.
Playing just last night the Cleveland Cavaliers dropped a close one 103-100 to the Celtics trying to stop a three game losing skid. The Cavaliers hit 46.8% of their shots from the floor and nailed half of their three points shots going 9-18 from three point range but in the end it just was not enough.
Kyrie Irving led the game in scoring with a great 32 point performance shooting 13-22 from the field and hit 4-6 three point shots. The Cavaliers got a lot of help from their bench with Dion Waiters putting up 17 points and Jarrett Jacks putting in 14 points on the night.
I do not see the Cleveland Cavaliers struggling ending tonight against a Golden State Warriors team that is on a roll. The Warriors have won the last five in this contest outscoring the Cavaliers by more than 12 points no average. Take the Warriors to cover the spread against a struggling Cavaliers team facing some drama in their organization.
